Nethercutt Museum Sylmar, CA

Dear ___,

Today my Dad surprised me with a trip to the Nethercutt Auotmotive Museum in Sylmar, CA.  I knew I was to be out of the house by 8am (Which is easier said than done for someone who just started her summer break in the middle of August).  But I was determined to try - our reservation was at 10:30 and we planned for Breakfast at Emle's on Reseda Blvd beforehand.  I was out of the house by 8:45am.  That said, we were on our way to Starbucks for coffee/tea and b-fast sandwiches.  Sorry, Dad! =) xo

I was so excited.  I love cars.  I love old cars.  40's-60's - UGH! CAN I PLEASE HAVE A '56 Ford Thunderbird (no portal holes, please) Orange or Dark Blue - Either would do.

The closest thing to a '56 T-bird in this whole museum was this: A Corvette....*drools*

Maybe they'll never get a Tbird at the museum but until they do I'm alright with this beautiful baby boy....

Kind of a mix between a shark with an overbite and a "foot" of a shellfish ... tehehe

There is also a music room on display... Who'd a thought it could get better?

Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ: I got to play it! The 3rd largest in the world!

Check out this museum if you're ever in the Valley/Sylmar area. It's sure to put a smile on your face.
Not to mention it's all free! Make a reservation online and you're all set!

Thanks!
